    Madang District  Territory of New Guinea
Location
Between 1884 until September 1914 part of Deutsch Neu Guinea (German New Guinea). Prewar and during World War II the Manus District was located in the Territory of New Guinea (TNG). Postwar, the two territories: Territory of New Guinea and Territory of Papua were combined into Papua New Guinea. On September 16, 1975 became Madang Province in the Papua New Guinea (PNG).

Madang Harbor  boders Madang and includes many small islands.
Kranket Island  located in Madang Harbor off Madang.
Biliau Island  located in Madang Harbor north of Madang Airfield.
Siar Island  located to the north of Madang Harbor and Madang.
Pig Island (Tab Island)  located to the north of Madang Harbor and Madang.

Yabob  located on the north coast of New Guinea bordering Astrolabe Bay.
Jomba Island (Yomba Island)  small island east of Madang.
Ambenob Rural LLG
North Coast Road (North Coast Highway)  built by the Germans connected the north coast of New Guinea.
Fredrich Karl Harbor (Nagada Harbor) located north of Madang
Bil Bil (Bili Bili)  located on the north coast of New Guinea bordering Astrolabe Bay.
Bil Bil Island (Bili Bili Island)  located in Astrolabe Bay off Bil Bil (Bili Bili).
Mililat  located on the north coast of New Guinea between Madang and Alexishafen.
Amron (Nob Nob, Nobanob, Moto Zan, Motozan)  hilltop located to the south of Alexishafen.
Alexishafen (Alexishaven)  located on the north coast Catholic mission and prewar airfield used by Japanese.
Alexishafen Catholic Mission  built prewar and still in use today
Danip  located to the north of Alexishafen, Japanese built airfield.
Sek Harbor (Alexishafen Harbor)  borders Alexishafen off the north coast of New Guinea.
Bostrem Bay  located inside Sek Harbor off the north coast of New Guinea.
Wongat Island  located to th east of Alexishafen off the north coast of New Guinea.
Admosin Island  located off Alexishafen mission southeast of Sek Harbor.
Megas Island  located off Alexishafen mission southeast of Sek Harbor.
Sek Island  located off Alexishafen Japanese supply base.
Megas Island  located off Alexishafen mission southeast of Sek Harbor.
Nake  inland village located to the west of Alexishafen.
Utu (Utu Mission)  located to the west of the Gogol River in the interior of New Guinea.
Silopi (Silipi)  located to the west of the Gogol River in the interior of New Guinea.

Wabusarik  inland village to the west of Madang.
Amaimon  inland village to the west of Madang.
Mawan  inland village to the north of the Gogol River in the interior of New Guinea.
Efu  inland village to the north of the Gogol River in the interior of New Guinea.
