Location
Jomba Island is located about two miles southeast of Madang off the north coast of New Guinea. Also spelled Yomba Island. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of Madang District in the Territory of New Guinea Today located in Madang
Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
