| Location Cape Iris and Biliau (Beliau) located on the Rai Coast portion of the north coast of New Guinea. To the southeast is Yamai and beyond roughly twelve miles away is Saidor. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in Madang District in the Territory of New Guinea. Today, located in Rai Coast Rural LLG, Rai Coast District of Madang Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Prewar Biliau mission was established by the Germans plus Biliau plantation as a coconut plantatin harvesting copra. Wartime History On February 24, 1944 U.S. Army, 126th Infantry Regiment, 3d Battalion reached Biliau and Cape Iris.
