Location
Lat 7° 53' S Long 147.7167° E Bau Island (Bau Islet) is located off the north coast of New Guinea. Borders Hercules Bay and Bau village (Old Bau). Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in Morobe Rural LLG, Huon District of Morobe Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
