Location
Lat 7° 54' 8S Long 147° 41' 7E Bau village (Old Bau) is located at an elevation of 3' above sea level on the north coast of New Guinea. Borders Hercules Bay and beyond to the northeast is Bau Island (Bau Islet). Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in Morobe Rural LLG, Huon District of Morobe Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
