Location
Ataliklikun Bay is a large bay located on the north coast of New Britain. To the west is Cape Lambert and further to the east is the Gazelle Peninsula and Rabaul. Pronounced "At-lik-lik-kun". Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in East
New Britain Province in Papua
New Guinea (PNG).
Wartime History
During late January 1942, occupied by the Japanese. During the Pacific War used as an anchorage for barges and small ships.
