Location
Lat 8° 3' 15S Long 139° 39' 24E Okaba is located at an elevation of 3' above sea level inalnd from the south coast of western New Guinea. Prewar and during the Pacific War, part of Dutch New Guinea (DNG) forming the western portion of the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Between 1973–2002 part of Irian Jaya. Today located in Merauke Regency in Papua Province (Provinsi Papua) in Indonesia.
