In Indonesian known as Propinsi Jawa Barat. To the northwest is Jakarta (Batavia), to the west is Banten Province and to the east is Central Java Province. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in Indonesia. Bandoeng (Bandung) Located in western Java. Lembang Located to the north of Bandoeng (Bandung). Banten Located on the northwest coast bordering Banten Bay (Teluk Banten). Tjilatjap (Chilachap, Cilacap) Located on the southern coast of Java. Soebang (Subang) Capital of the Subang Regency Kalijati (Kalidjati, Kalijaga) Located in Subang, roughly ten miles from Soebang.
