Location
Tarangan Island is located in the southwest corner of the Aru Island Group (Aroe Islands). Also known as Trangan Island. Borders Koba Island to the northeast and Maikoor Island (Maikor) to the north. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in Maluku Province in Indonesia.
