Maikoor Island (Maikor) in the west of
the Aru Island Group (Aroe). Also spelled Maikor. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today part of Maluku Province (Provinsi Maluku) in Indonesia.

Reportedly a Japanese seaplane base or anchorage in this area.
