Location
Lat 17° 37' 0S Long 177° 28' 0E Located on
the western coast of Viti Levu Island in Fiji, to the north east of Nadi. To the west is Saweni Bay.
Wartime History
At Lautoka, U.S. Navy (USN) 3rd Naval Construction Battalion (3rd NCB), Company C "Seabees" built a jetty 60' long by 300' wide. The New Zealand Army, 3rd Division, 30th Battalion landed arrived from Saweni to Lautoka.
