Location
Lat 1° 19' 60N Long 103° 52' 0E Kallang is located at an elevation of 3' above sea level at the center of the southern coast of Singapore Island. Wartime spelling Kallang. Also spelled Kallang, Gā-láahng or Jiālěng. To the southwest is Keppel Harbor. To the south is the Singapore Strait. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the British colony known as the Malayan States or Malaya. Today located in the Republic of Singapore.
