Location Hoi village is located in the Owen Stanley Range along the Kokoda Trail between Kokoda and Deniki in Oro Province in Papua New Guinea. From Hoi, Kokoda Airfield is visible to the south also Faiwani Creek. Today Hoi village was established postwar.
