Location The Sagami Sea borders the southern coast of Honshū in Japan. In Japanese known as 相模灘 Sagami Nada. Also known as Sagamu Gulf. The Sagami Sea borders Sagami Bay (Sagami Wan) to the north and is formed by Cape Manazuru at the northern side, eastward to Jogashima Island and Cape Turugi and southward to the northern tip of Izu Ōshima Jima (O-Shima) and to Cape Iro and the Izu Peninsula.
