| Location The Cyclops Mountains are a mountain range on the north coast of New Guinea. In Dutch known as Cijcloop bergen. The tallest peak is known as Mount Cyclops (Mt. Cyclops). Borders Cape Eneaueh and Cape Ormoe to th north. To the east is Hollandia (Jayapura), Cape Soeadja (Tanjung Suaja) and borders Humboldt Bay. To the south is Cyclops and beyond Lake Sentani (Sentani Lake) to the south. To the west is Cape Tanahmerah and Tanahmerah Bay. Prewar and during the Pacific War, located in Dutch New Guinea (DNG) in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in Jayapura Regency in Papua Province in Indonesia. P-61B Black Widow Serial Number 42-39445 Pilot Southfield crashed January 10, 1945 into the Cyclops Moutains.
