Location
Lat 0° 54' 30S Long 119° 52' 15E Palu Bay (Paloe Bay) borders Palu (Paloe) at the mouth of the Palu River (Paloe River) on the coast of Sulawesi (Celebes). Prewar and during the Pacific War in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today known as Kota Palu (Palu City) part of Central Sulawesi Province (Sulawesi Tengah) in Indonesia.
Wartime History
During 1942 occupied by the Japanese until the official surrender of Japan.
