Location
Lat 1°26′N Long 125°14′E Lembeh Island is located off the northeastern tip of Sulawesi (Celebes). Borders Lembeh
Strait to the west. Wartime spelling was "Lahbeh" or misspelled as Lambeh. In Indonesia, known as Pulau Lembeh. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in North Sulawesi Province (Sulawesi Utara) in Indonesia.
