Location Akutan Island is located in the Fox Island Group (Fox Islands) in the Aleutian Island Chain (Aleutian Islands) in Alaska in the United States of America. A6M2 Model 21 Zero 4593 Tail D1-108 Pilot Koga crashed June 4, 1942 salvaged for evaluation the wreckage became known as "The Alaskan Zero".
