50cal Barrel Picket Fence

Does anybody know of a station that has old 50BMG barrels used as fence posts, id love to take a look and get some photos. Old bloke told me it was in the NT but not sure???

I've covered most of the airfields, camps, aircraft crash sites and military sites in the NT and mapped out most of these and have never seen any fence made of .50" barrels - seems a tragic waste of good barrels, if not the steel needed after the war if it's true, but I'd suggest someone may be pulling your leg!
