Aircraft History Built by Douglas. Delivered to the U.S. Navy (USN) as AD-2 Skyraider bureau number unknown. Wartime History During the Korean War, assigned to the U.S. Navy (USN) or U.S. Marine Corps (USMC). Assigned to an unknown squadron. No known markings. This Skyraider crashed or was abandoned in North Korea. Wreckage Displayed at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation Museum (North Korean War Museum)suspended above the ground on a wooden frame indoors in the basement level. This aircraft is missing the engine, cowling, canopy, tail vertical and outer wing panels. The rear fuselage is broken behind the cockpit and forward of the tail stabilizers.
